Summer Reading "Book Fair"
The English Language Arts department has compiled a list of titles (some suggested, some required) for each grade level. Please use the order forms below to make your selections and return the form to Mountain View, along with cash or check (made payable to The Bookworm), by Thursday, June 2. Books will be delivered to Mountain View with the goal of distributing them prior to the last day of school.
The Bookworm will generously provide Mountain View with 20% of the total sales. Note that families can choose to purchase titles elsewhere and/or borrow them from the library.
A note from Ms. Walsh
Good Afternoon Mountain View, and happy Memorial Day Weekend. As mentioned in my message to the community yesterday, resources are available to both students and families to assist in processing trauma in the aftermath of the senseless tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. I, along with other mental health professionals in the building am available to meet with students and/or families if needed. Please encourage your students to communicate with me or another trusted adult and share their feelings. Below are the resources I shared yesterday, along with additional resources that may be helpful to you and your family.
