1st 6 Weeks Report Cards

Remember to view your child's report card on Skyward Family Access. Report cards for the first 6-week grading period will be viewable on September 30th.

Please also remember to electronically sign the report card. The directions are attached below.

Skyward Family Access - View Grades and Attendance

Attendance Update

Attendance letters are on their way out, and I wanted to give you some insight to part of the absence process that is new this year.

Due to requirements under Texas Education Code Section 25.095, school districts are required to send warning notices about excessive unexcused absences; this includes full day absences, and it also includes parts of days missed this year.

BCISD will continue to send attendance letters to parents, however this year's letters will include early check-out days in addition to full day absences in order to reflect the attendance requirements under the law.

It is important for students to be in attendance throughout the full school day when possible. In order to avoid accruing unexcused absences, please remember to provide the necessary documentation needed for an excused absence each time your student arrives late, checks out early, or misses a complete day of school.
