HANG OUT at HILL - WEDNESDAYS
Join us for a casual get together every Wednesday evening this summer.
Bring balls, bubbles, toys, and meet up with other Rancho families for an evening of play!
It's a perfect place for a picnic dinner too!
(Mrs. Nam will be there occasionally too - if anyone wants to play pickleball.).
4th of July Parade
Come join your fellow Rancho Eagles and march in the 4th of July Parade!
We will be waving flags from different countries and saying good morning in languages from around the world...just like we do at Welcome Wednesday and throughout the week!
Thanks to everyone who signed up already! We'd like to get a rough headcount of how many Eagles will show their spirit and march in the parade. Click on the link to RSVP!
4th of July Parade - I'm interested!
For Inspiration - see the "float" with eagle wings the Ternus family started. They have extra flags too if people want! (No pressure to create a wagon float --- just have fun and do what works for you and your family!)
Summer TK/Kindergarten Playdates
It would be a great way to get connected and meet new friends before the first day of school.
No Host TK/Kinder Playdates on TUESDAYS at 10:00!
July 19th
July 26th
August 2nd
August 9th
(Current TK families - or incoming kinder families with older siblings at Rancho - it would be wonderful if you could join a few too! I'm sure families would love the inside scoop - and you are the experts!)
Stay tuned for more information about school and schedules at the beginning of August!
FIELD DAY
Thank you so much Brittany Devita for organizing a fun field day! The kids had a blast. And thank you to all the adults who came to volunteer and cheer on the kids! Lucas Hession, Annelise Hancock, Andy Briggs, Aron Eichorn, Ashley Piper, Catherine Sammis, Enna Diaz, Eva Gaborjak, Franklin Lu, Gillian Rutune, Jennie Harris, Jenny Collings, Jon Busman, Jessica Gonzalez, Jessica Paradise, Josh Bruckner, Kate Carson, Lara Moren, Lupita Ocon, Mary Provines, Melissa Cordellos, Nery Escobar, Noelle Coleman, Shannon Farrell, Suganaya Rajaram, Sylvia Uhlade, and Mrs. Perez' daughter, Marissa!.It was great seeing and hearing the joy and laughter.
5th/Staff Softball Game
We loved hearing the students cheering for everyone, but the shining moment was when one of our 5th graders ran up to help a staff member who was new to softball. When she came up to bat, he showed her how to stand and hold the bat. THAT shows true character and made me so proud!
5th Grade Promotion
And the culminating event of the year - the 5th Grade Promotion! Thank you Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. McGoldrick for all your coordination. And thank you to all the families who helped set up and make it special for the kids. They are ready for middle school!

End-of-Year Note from PTA President
If you've ever chatted with me, you've probably heard me say how much I much I love our Rancho community more and more each day....because it's true!
Each time I turn around there's someone else stepping up and leaning in to give to Rancho. From humble "how can I help?" to hardworking "I can do that!" and from our principal and support staff "we can make it work!" to our teachers "sure, let's try it!" Rancho has some of the most thoughtful and gracious people I have ever met. And at the center of it all is a heart for the STUDENTS.
It has been an honor to serve as your PTA President for the last year two years. Thank you for your patience and grace with me, as we learned and tried new things together along the way.
I am beyond excited as we begin to prepare for next school year. Next year's PTA President, Ann Graham, is already planning and organizing with Mrs. Nam for the start of the school year. She brings incredible follow through and execution of next steps. She thinks big picture with great attention to detail and has a true heart for the kids. Ann Graham is a Rancho gem!
Enjoy summer! And then get ready for an exciting new school year together!
