Hug and Go Lane
Please make sure that you are helping us keep traffic moving in the Hug and Go Lane. Remember the lane closest to the school is for drop off only. No parking is allowed in this lane in order to provide student safety while being dropped off. Also, for the safety of our students, the staff parking lot should never be used for student drop off or pickup. Please note that the parking lot will be blocked off in the morning from 8:00am-8:20am and in the afternoon from 3:00pm-3:15pm.

Changing weather
Fall is officially here! Please make sure to double check the weather in the morning to dress your students accordingly.

As a reminder, please ensure that your student comes to school with a mask everyday. We are getting a large number of students who are not bringing their own mask to school and are coming to the office daily (sometimes multiple times per day) to get a mask. We suggest providing several masks in your child's backpack as they may become wet or broken during the day, especially for the younger students.Thank you for your continued support of our school.

Our annual Jog-A-Thon was a huge success. The kids had a great time and did an amazing job running. Thank you to all the students who participated. Thank you to everyone who generously donated to help our students raise money to fund all of our valuable programs. The students raised over $30,000 for our school and crushed our goal!!! Prize winners will be announced next week. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this day a success and all the family members who were there to cheer on the runners. Our LEE community is amazing!!

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, October 5th, Wednesday, October 6th, and Thursday, October 7th. We will be offering online and in person conferences. Tuesday, October 5th and Wednesday October 6th will be in person conferences. Thursday, October 7th will be reserved for all online conferences. Masks are required for all in person conferences. Individuals that are not comfortable wearing masks, or are not comfortable with in person meetings, should schedule an online conference. Online conferences will take place via WebEx. Please look for additional information coming from your child's teacher.

Appointments can be made starting Monday, September 20th at 6:00am through Friday, October 1st at 7:00pm. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact the school office. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child's reading habits.

The all-important October Count Day is Friday, October 1st. It is very important that we account for every child who attends Longmont Estates so that we can receive the correct amount of state funding. If your child has an appointment that day, please make sure to be present before/after the appointment if at all possible so that your child can be counted. Let's try to have 100% attendance that day!

Elementary material fees will be maintained by LEE to purchase school specific nonstandard classroom materials such as school planners, word books and writing paper. Because items purchased with materials fees are for both individual student and group use, the fees will be pooled and deposited for use in an account at LEE.

This fee will be assessed on September 15, 2021, and due by October 15, 2021. The $10 fee may be paid by check made out to LEE, cash or by clicking here.
