District Update - May 7

Superintendent's Message
Gratitude is pausing to notice and appreciate the things we often take for granted. It’s about focusing on the good in our lives and being grateful for the things we have. This year, and this month especially, the Midview Local Schools community has had much to celebrate and even more to be proud of.
Continuing with this trend, it's only fitting that staff appreciation week begins Monday.
While we take time this week to honor and celebrate all of our Midview Local School District staff members, our unwavering appreciation for them lasts all year long. As superintendent, I am privileged to work with such a tremendous group of caring, innovative, thoughtful, smart, and effective teachers and support staff. Most do not realize the amount of time, effort, and energy that they pour into students. So, thank you to our staff – you truly are difference-makers in the lives of our young people!
Our success is dependent on so many, and I would also like to thank our students, families, and community members for the many different roles they play in making Midview Local Schools exceptional. Together, We Are Midview.
Please join me in using this week as an excuse to give a little extra praise to one another and to the original influencers - our school staff!
Take care,
Dr. Willingham

Summer School & Extended School Year
Midview Schools are pleased to announce plans for summer school and extended school year. The district understands the impact the past several years have had on our students, and we want to ensure all students are ready for the 2023-2024 school year. Therefore, we have developed a Summer School and Extended School Year program that will assist in bridging the gap between school years. To read more, click here.
