Owens Families,

We have had a wonderful first week here at Owens! It has been such a joy to see all of the new and returning students in our hallways and we look forward to all of the amazing things to come this year. We hope your children have communicated a great start to you as well.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher if there is anything we can do to improve your child's school experience this year. We are excited to watch all of our eagles soar to greatness this year.

• Doors open at 7:15 a.m.
• Bell rings at 7:50 a.m. for announcements and for class to begin.
• Dismissal is at 3:10 p.m.

• Students may not be dropped off at any location earlier than 7:15 a.m. when our doors open.
  
• PreK & Kindergarten (and their siblings in same car) may be dropped off at back doors.
• Students eating breakfast at school in grades 1-5 may be dropped off at the cafeteria.
  
• Students who do not eat breakfast at school in grades 1-5 at school may be dropped off at the front of the school.
• Bell rings at 7:50 a.m.
• Any students arriving after 7:50 should be dropped off at the front of the school as the doors will be locked and staff will no longer be on duty to let them in.

• Please have your car tag visible at all dismissal locations. This helps our teachers call student's names quickly and correctly. If you need an additional car tag, they are available for purchase through PTA for $2.
• PreK & K car riders (and their older siblings) will be picked up at the back of the school. If you need to buckle your student into their car seat, please pull up past the awning of the car line after your child is loaded to allow cars to load and traffic to flow behind you.
• First & Second grade car riders will be picked up at the front of the school as before.
• Third, Fourth, and Fifth graders (and their siblings) will be picked up at the cafeteria drive like before.

Monday, August 23rd

Independence Day: Students will begin walking to class independently. Teachers will be on duty to assist any students who may need additional help. Any parent who wishes to walk in with their student should check in with their photo ID at the front office.
