Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Community Members,
I think it’s safe to say that students have officially settled into the routine of being back at school. From bus drop off to parent pickup, students are doing great getting back on a schedule. As I mentioned last week, I’ve seen some amazing things taking place in classrooms. Your students truly have amazing teachers who care deeply about them and their education. It doesn’t matter what time of day or what classroom I’m in, your students are consistently being engaged in lessons and are learning great things!
I would like to send a huge THANK YOU to the Knights of Columbus for their generous coat donation. They help supply coats to students in need, which is a necessity all kids need. Thank you to Tom Burns (Grand Knight), Charles Smith, and Rick Talbott for caring and helping to support our students!
Just a few reminders for the next couple of weeks:
NO SCHOOL on Monday 9/11. This is a professional development day for teachers.
Friday 9/15 will be fall picture day.
Next Saturday is Pig N Pickle. More information will be sent out early next week for students who are involved in float decorating and the parade.
Tuesday 9/19 is the FFA Alumni meeting
Wednesday 9/20 is the monthly board meeting
Friday 9/22 is the FFA Truck and Tractor Pull
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
Principal
