Welcome Back Hawks!
July 7, 2022
Dear Hawk Students and Families,
Welcome back Hawks! I am excited to begin the 2022-2023 school year with you. We have learned so much about our academic capacity and our ability to learn in different ways the past couple years. I look forward to implementing all our new strategies in our own environment on campus as we return to full in person learning.
We have plenty planned to engage our students and build up our Hawk pride! Please take a minute to review all the attached material. Return the appropriate materials when picking up your schedules in July. The enclosures consist of: request for off campus lunch pass (no freshmen), student parent compact, and nurse emergency form. Please complete the forms and return them to us during your student’s designated dates. Schedules will not be given unless all forms are complete and turned in. School schedules can be picked up in the PAL (next to the main gym) on the following designated dates from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The schedule is as follows:
July 11th: Juniors/Seniors
July 12th: Sophomores
July 13th: Freshmen
We will have an orientation for our incoming Freshmen to allow them time to become acquainted with our campus.
9th Grade Orientation is July 18th at 6:00 pm – In the Nest-Main gym
No schedule changes will be made on these days; however, if there is a problem, an appointment can be made to see a counselor. The only issues we will address at this time will be students not having a complete 7-course schedule.

Centennial staff builds relationships with our students, families, and community; that is just one unique characteristic that makes Centennial an amazing place to learn. We hope you find it welcoming as we aim to create students who are productive citizens finding their pathway to a fulfilling future.
I would also like to ask parents to remain patient with us as we navigate through the drop off and pick up situation. At the beginning of each year, it becomes congested as parents adjust to the process. If you are going to enter the visitor parking area, please take a parking spot and wait for your student. Otherwise, you are encouraged to use the drive-through lane. Right side is for pick up, left side is to pass through. Parents are not allowed to enter the staff parking area to drop off or pick up their student.
I look forward to working with each one of you throughout this year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns…my door is always open.
Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
Respectfully,
Susie Hendee
Principal
