Welcome Back and Welcome to 2022!

Welcome Back Fearless Educators,


I cannot believe it is already 2022, I am still processing 2019 that is now three years ago. Time sure does fly. As many of you begin new courses this semester please always refer to the SLN or ELN for your scope and sequence and curriculum maps. These are helpful tools to keep you on track.


Additionally, if you are using the canvas course as your form on in-person learning that is not what the shell was designed for. These shells were created in the event you had a student who was quarantined or if we had to move quickly to online learning. As we continue to support schools it is important that you are using the curriculum, materials, and textbooks that are provided to you.

Lightning Made

The Tampa Bay Lightning Equip the Thunder Program is a FREE ball hockey program aimed to get children at local area schools and community centers interested in the game of hockey. This program offers area schools a PE class curriculum and a school activity that is a fast-paced alternative to traditional PE class units.

Fun at Bat

Fun At Bat is an entry-level bat and ball program for kids with an emphasis on character development, functional movement, active play, and fun. The initiative stems from meticulous research on introductory youth sport programs and is supported by Major League Baseball, USA Baseball and industry professionals. The Fun At Bat program is FREE for schools and school districts to adopt.

Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed a relaxing and fun winter break. As you get ready to launch the second semester with your students, we encourage you to utilize both Inner Explorer (our new mindfulness platform) and our First 20 Days back calendar! Both resources can help you to re-establish your classroom culture and help to set you and your students up for success. These resources are available in our SEL Learning Network.

Career Planning Unit in MJ Health Grade 6

Please make sure you are checking the 2021--22 YAG that reflects all the lessons and units included in the course. We have added a short Career Planning Unit to the course this year as a piece of required instruction for all middle school students each year. The modules for Career Planning are built into your student-facing canvas course and they are very straightforward with the curriculum and website (careershines) that will be used for the students. Please let the Health Education team know if you have questions!

Secondary Office Hours

Here you will find the office hours schedule for this fall semester. Office hours are an opportunity to connect with OLL Supervisors, Senior Specialists and Program Coordinators regarding your curriculum questions. We look forward to seeing you.
