Addressing Student Health in School
What You Need to Know for Your Child's School Documents
Family S.T.A.R. program offers an online presentation to give you the tools you need!
Children in school systems with healthcare concerns should have additional documents to support their medical needs. An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) should include an Individual Healthcare Plan (IHP) and an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for their specific needs while in the school environment. This presentation will identify what these documents are, what information should be included in them, and will review sample options.
