Message from our Superintendent

Sylacauga City Schools welcomed more than 2,030 students to four campuses in grades PreK-12 this week for the 2023-24 school year. From morning drop-off to afternoon dismissal, this week has been full of excitement and newness for parents, teachers, administrators, and school staff members.

I would like to thank the community for working together to make the onset of this school year a success, and I am looking forward to the many achievements this year will bring in academics, athletics, and fine arts! We are #allin for the 2023-24 School Year - Go Aggies!

Sylacauga City employees enjoyed hearing Coach Ken Carter during our annual Institute Day. Coach Carter challenged and encouraged everyone to stay focused on the reason we are here. We look forward to serving your children during the 2023-2024 school year.

The first week of school was a great success! We loved seeing all the smiling faces of our students.
