TeSA Families,
Our open enrollment period ends on February 15th. Your child's spot is secured, but the Intent to Return Form is due for 2021-2022 planning. Thank you to those who have completed the form. If you haven't, please plan for 1-2 minutes to take care of it as soon as possible.
In this last week of open enrollment, we ask that you invite families to apply. You can spread the word to hundreds of people in just a couple minutes by making a Facebook post using the picture below and hitting the "Share" button. If you want to go an extra step, write your own statement of why YOU love TeSA. Thank you for your continued support!

February 23rd-26th
Tuesday-Friday, February 23rd-26th, our 3rd-6th grade students take STAAR (State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness) benchmark exams. These exams will be given in a STAAR format, using previously released STAAR questions. The data from these tests will help teachers develop targeted instruction for students to achieve all standards by May.
Additionally, designated K-6th grade students will be scheduled to take the TELPAS (Texas English Proficiency Assessment System). Unless scheduled for TELPAS, all K-2nd grade students will engage in At-Home Learning during these testing dates.
Students will be spread at least six feet apart and required to wear their mask during testing. We will schedule a 30 minute lunch and a 15 minute recess period, in which students will be able to take off their masks for a break. Students may purchase a lunch or bring one from home. The only other items needed on testing days are a water bottle and pencil.
Students should only come to campus on the days they are scheduled to test. Students may be checked out after testing is complete, or stay for the duration of the day.
Volunteers Needed
Calling ALL Parents!
In an effort to give TeSA's teachers more time in their classrooms and with their students, TeSA PTO has slots available to volunteer in the workroom. Please click HERE to see available and to sign up.
First time volunteers will also need to complete the Volunteer Application.
TeSA Applause
Even though Belinda is busy and has lots of things on her plate, she's always willing to help with brag tags when I need it. Brag tags are a little different this year. Due to Covid, we have to individually bag the tags for each student and it takes a bit of time. Without her help for the 2nd 6 weeks, it would have taken me twice as long. I'm so grateful for her help and her great attitude!
Do you want to recognize someone extra special at TeSA? Fill out the TeSA Applause Form.
