MP Middle/High School students and staff had an assembly Monday morning to congratulate our Dodge-Point Girls WIAA Division 2 State Cross Country Champions and Boys team that finished 5th! It was amazing to hear their stories of strength and perseverance during the race.

The girls edged 2nd place Shorewood by one point, 88-89! Ellie Robinson was the top DP runner finishing in 4th. This is the 6th state title for the girls in DP program history. The DP Boys team placed 5th overall with Will Aurit the top finisher in 16th.

Congratulations to our FFA Livestock Judging Team! The group was silver rated at the National Convention in Indianapolis last week, which puts them between 13th and 29th in the nation. Great job!

A big shout out to 6th Grade Teacher McKenzy Brown (1st Place Teacher) and Cross Country & Track and Field Coach Denny McGraw (1st Place Coach) for their recognition in The Dodgeville Chronicle's annual "Best Of" awards last week! Thank you for all you do for our young people!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Middle School Band Pancake Breakfast! The students sounded great and the food was delicious.

Kudos to the Middle School Student Council for putting on a fun costume contest Friday! Congrats to the winners: 1st Place: Liam Kabat, 2nd Place: Carson and Hudson Schroeder, 3rd Place: Hank Allbright.

We love to see our students out and about in the community giving back! This group of National Honor Society members volunteered recently at Shake Rag Alley.

Not sure who is more excited for the work being done on the upper elementary school parking lot - the kids (the trucks are exciting) or the staff (having a place to park again soon)!

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the CDC recommend that anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or who has had close contact with someone with COVID-19 be tested. The test for COVID-19 involves a quick swab of the inside of the nose. The school is working with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on providing rapid antigen and PCR tests in school. If you would like to have the option for your child to get a PCR or antigen test at school, they must bring the attached consent form signed by a parent/guardian if they are under 18 years old. You would be contacted before any testing would occur and only if indicated per school policy. This form is being distributed now, to be collected in advance so that in the event your child needs to be tested, we would not have to wait for the form to be returned during the middle of a work or school day.
