Stonybrook Red Storm Forecast

Dear Stonybrook Families,

If you are not already aware, on the days your students are working on application work at home, we provide breakfast and lunch for them. This is distributed when your students are going home the day before. Please encourage them to take a free breakfast and lunch!

Parents, you can view your students "Warren Password" on the ParentVUE Student Info tab. Just click on Student Info and then scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see your students' passwords right after the bus info.

Warren Township schools in conjunction with IPS and community partners will be hosting a backpack giveaway this Saturday, August 15 starting at 10:30 am and ending at 12:30 PM. The event will take place at 4160 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis. Prairie Farms Dairy will be giving away gallons of milk to families in attendance. Book bags and supplies are on a first come first serve basis.

Dress Code

Parents, please remind your students to follow the Stonybrook dress code policy. We are seeing some hoodies, flip flops, and sweat pants. We will be contacting you next week if your student comes to school out of dress code. Thanks for your help! A link to the dress code policy is below.

Dress Code Policy

Attention 7th and 8th Graders:

Football practices for both 7th and 8th grade will begin on Monday, August 17th. Both virtual and in person students are able to participate in sports. Students are expected to be at practice on days they do not attend school as well. Students must have a physical on file to participate. If a player had a physical on file from last year, it IS valid again for this year. However, Parents will still need to complete the final form documents for a player to be able to participate.The final forms documents can be found in the athletic newsletter on the school’s website. Dear Families,

Yearbooks are a tradition for schools throughout the US and Canada. At Lifetouch, we are humbled to be a part of providing that tradition. We know how important yearbooks are - especially in times like these.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge this year’s delayed yearbook delivery is not what you, as our customers expect, nor deserve, from Lifetouch.

We want you to be aware that our primary yearbook production facilities are located in some of the states that are being hardest hit by the pandemic. We have prioritized the safety of our employees; and we are following all state and local health guidelines to create a safe working environment. Social distancing requirements mean that there are fewer people available to work at any given time. These changes have impacted our production schedule in meaningful ways.

We realize this has created a lot of frustration since we are currently unable to provide an estimated delivery time frame for your school’s yearbook. Please know our teams are doing everything possible to get your yearbook to you. Shipping is monitored daily. As soon as your yearbook ships, your school will receive tracking information so they can arrange to distribute the yearbooks to the students and families in a manner that is best suited for everyone’s safety.

As we navigate COVID-19, our intent is to provide you with a yearbook that your student will treasure for a lifetime. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this unprecedented time together.
