Design and Make a Robot!: a Just for Fun Activity Grades 2-5
Reading, Writing, and Creating is my Superpower!
All of you have amazing ideas! Writers generate ideas for stories, inventors think of inventions. Here is your chance to be an inventor, a creator, and a writer!
Design a Robot of Your Own!Gather objects from your junk drawer or just around your classroom, library, or house (rubber bands, rulers, pieces of paper, boxes, or cardboard, toothpicks, chopsticks, etc.). Write down each item and its usual, common purpose. Now think like an EngiNerd and make a list of other, less-common, less-usual uses for each item. Build your robot!
