April 26-30
Hello Third Grade Families !
End of Level Testing starts on Tuesday !
This week's test will be on writing. Students will receive either an opinion essay prompt or an informational prompt. We have been practicing both types of essays at school! Student writing has really improved over the last several weeks. They are all so smart and capable, I know they will show how amazing their learning has been this year!
The most important thing to remind your student is to try their very best!
Testing will start at 9:00 am! It is important for students to arrive on time to school, rested and having a good breakfast.
Testing will take place in the classroom and it will be very disrupting for students to be coming in late. Please help our class with a positive testing atmosphere by being on time!
Please see testing dates below ! It is very important for students to be at school during our testing windows. Please avoid scheduling appointments or absences during these weeks. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Let's have a great week !
Friendly Reminder: WE WILL CONTINUE TO WEAR MASKS AT SCHOOL!
Please remind your students to wear their masks at all times when inside the building. We have a few friends in our class that are wearing them under their noses, masks should cover both the nose and the mouth at all times. Students are allowed to take off their masks for lunch and at recesses.
If you do have questions or concerns don't hesitate to contact me!

*Practice spelling words and sentences - the list is below and on Canvas.
*Practice vocabulary words
*Practice multiplication facts
*Any math page that comes home marked as "Homework"
Homework Folders
Homework folders will come home on Monday, April 26th and should be returned on Monday, May 3rd.
FRIDAYS
- iPads will be coming home on Fridays, there will be work for Friday. Friday homework is preparing students for Fourth Grade - Please encourage students to complete their work!
- Please make sure iPads come back on Monday charged and ready to go. Our class does not have extra iPads, therefore it is very important that the iPads come back on Mondays!
- ***Parents, there are students that are not doing their Friday work on their iPads. Starting the week of Monday, April 12th if I see that there has not been online work completed, the student iPad will not come home the next Friday!
