Mustang Memo Q2 Week 3

Good Evening Mustangs!

Students are back in the swing of school and working hard in this second quarter! We want to thank all of the pre-K parents that came out this morning and afternoon to support your tiny mustangs in the Transportation Parade! They were so proud of their creations and we loved seeing them parade through the campus! As we finish the month of October we have some exciting things happening on our Mustang Campus. This past week we traveled to the TCC with 84 amazing Miller Rockstars to watch the Tucson Roadrunners Hockey! Our students had a great time and were an amazing representation of Miller and its magnificent community! Beginning Monday, we are ready to show our Miller Spirit with a week of celebrations! We hope to see you on campus and at our community events this week!

Monday October 30th: Favorite Book Character Day

Tuesday October 31st: Costumes for Trunk or Treat

Wednesday November 1st: PJ Day

Thursday November 2nd: Sugar Skulls Day

Friday November 3rd: Dress as your favorite historian

Students and family may begin bringing in photo copies of loved one lost to place at our traditional altar. Please bring pictures to the office. If you need copies made just let Ms. Veronica know.

We are still accepting Candy donations for our Trunk or Treat!

If you are able to pick up a bag, just drop it off or send it in to the front office!

Monday 10/30 5pm-8pm

Come to Peter Piper Pizza and let them know you are from Miller Elementary when you pay to raise money for our school. There will be a costume contest, games and family fun!

Tuesday October 31st

Thank you to all that have donated candy and/or are participating. We have 20 cars confirmed bringing candy and many signed up but not confirmed. If you haven't confirmed your car please let us know as soon as possible that you will be decorating a car and if you will be bringing candy or need candy supplied.

Cars will be allowed to enter campus off of Calle Isabel.

We will open the field gates beginning @7:45AM

Students will begin the Trunk or Treat at 9AM

Come Celebrate

We will have our traditional altar, Folklorico beginning at 6:15PM, , Pan Dulce and Hot chocolate,

activities for the family, and the movie Coco Showing in the Cafeteria. We hope to see you all there!

Cross Country Meet and Practice This Week:

Monday: No Practice There is a meet at Fort Lowell Park beginning at 4. Parents must take athletes. Athletes wear your Miller Blue and arrive by 3:30 at the latest. Look for a text from coach.

Tuesday and Thursday: Practice until 3:30

Basketball is coming!!!

If your student is interested in playing Basketball the season begins the week of November 13th. Any one participating must have physical and paperwork packet turned into the office before the first day. Get your packet in the front office.
