- With the addition of small group and individual Meet conferences during the "at home extension" hour, please be reminded of the following policies and procedures for parents, which are included in the "Google Apps for Education and Student Chromebook Contract," (complete policy attached below for your reference):
- Google Meet Virtual check-ins are designed for students. To prevent disruptions to the learning environment, parents/guardians should not actively participate in check-in sessions, although parents/guardians may assist their child with technology and/or remain nearby.
- Do not video record, audio record, photograph, live stream, or transmit in any other way any part of a Google Meet, including not posting on any social media platform.
- Any confidential or personally identifiable information related to students participating during Google Meet should not be collected, discussed or shared.
- Parents/guardians should not engage with students during Google Meets. If you need to speak with your child during a Google Meet, first mute your child's microphone.
- If a parent/guardian has a question, please email your child's teacher.
- Important information for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade parents: To maximize communication on Google Classroom and assist in efficiently scheduling Google Meets during the "at home extension" hour, all students in grades 6-8 will be provided with a district email account. Note that this account only allows for communication within the domain. In the coming days, teachers will review email best practices, expectations, and etiquette. Please also review the Google Apps policy attached below, which contains a section on student email accounts.

- Attention Harvest Hustlers -- registration is now open for the 12th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K and Kids Fun Run -- it’s VIRTUALLY the best race of 2020! Registration is open until October 31, and runners can input their race times at any point during the month of October. All finishers will receive a commemorative 12th Annual Harvest Hustle face mask the week of November 2nd.
