First Trimester Target Update
Each year, collaboratively as building leadership teams, we come up with targets that align with district goals to create the best possible educational experience for our students. This year, A.W. Becker’s goals are centered on building success in reading, math, and attendance with a focus on community engagement. We are also working to steadily increase positive referrals while decreasing discipline referrals. (Our 4 Targets are always listed at the top of our newsletter each month.)

We are on track of meeting all four targets at this time. I'm proud of our students and staff. Thank you for your home support, as well.

Bringing Attendance Home: Parent Video
Bringing Attendance Home, a video from Attendance Works, features parents talking to other parents about reducing absenteeism. Filmed in schools across the country, the video offers tips for parents and schools to improve student attendance.
