Grade Recovery - Freeman

Grade Recovery is offered to students who failed Quarter 1 in an effort to master the skills that we practiced throughout the nine weeks. It is an opportunity to bring your failing grade up to a passing grade (70).

You will need to check Skyward and figure out which assignments that you did not turn in or did not complete or failed (below 70%) and redo them.

All assignments are linked below. I will not be providing copies of these assignments. You may print them in the Library for 10 cents a page or you may print them at home.

You will need to put ALL of the completed work in a folder. The folder should be labeled with your name, your class period, and that it is quarter 1 grade recovery.

It MUST all be submitted at once in the folder. It must be turned into your class period's gold tray or handed directly to me.

All of this work must be completed and turned in NO LATER THAN Friday, November 15th at 3:30 PM.

This s'more is broken down by unit and goes in chronological order for the 9 weeks.

Once you choose your class level (Standard, Honors, or Advanced Honors) navigate through the weeks in Quarter 1 to find the list of assignments in order of week. On the right of the page are the files of assignment, attachments, and any relevant notes categorized by story.

This is about a novel that was not a choice, so don't just copy it.

Within the PowerPoint, copy the definition for each word in DIDLS, then answer the questions for each set of examples.

Choose EITHER the book talk presentation OR the novel choice board to complete for your independent book project. Your book cannot be one read for this class.

• If you choose the book talk presentation, you MUST fill out the organizer and present it to me during a Rocket Time that is scheduled in advance.
• If you choose the novel choice board, you MUST complete 10 activities and somehow clip/staple them together so that they do not get combined with the rest of your work for the grade recovery in your folder.
