We hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the spring season. It's hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of the school year with 21 days of school left. We have had a wonderful year so far, filled with exciting learning opportunities and remarkable achievements. As we enter the final stretch, let's take a moment to celebrate our student's accomplishments and look ahead to the exciting events that await us.

Upcoming Events

Tonight is our annual PTA Spring Carnival. It will take place on the blacktop/playground from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. tonight. Please see the graphic below for more information.

Spring Chorus Concert: Our talented music students have been practicing diligently for our annual Spring Chorus Concert. Please join us on May 25th at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria.

5th Grade's Simulated Congressional Hearings: Our fifth-grade students will take part in a Simulated Congressional Hearings to culminate their social studies unit this quarter.

Field Day: Get ready for a day of fun and games! On May 26, we will be hosting our annual Field Day. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various outdoor activities and enjoy friendly competitions.

It's nearly time for the 2023 summer swim team season! Summer Swim Team is an exciting and fun way to be together with friends and neighbors throughout the summer. They offer daily practices, swim meets, pep rallies, and more! It's fun for all ages and all are welcome to join! Please check out the CNSL Website to learn more about this season.

Students who attend Clemens Crossing Elementary School are assigned to swim on either the Clemens Crossing Cyclones or the Clary's Forest/Hawthorn/Swansfield Sundevils. Team assignment is based on your home address.

Spring Carnival

The Spring Carnival is today, Friday, May 12th from 5:00-8:00 pm on the CCES blacktop.

This year’s theme is Pirates and Mermaids! There will be mermaid highlights, an animal encounter, balloon art, inflatables, a dunk tank, cotton candy and popcorn, plus so much more!

Keep your eyes peeled, rumor has it that a mermaid might be in attendance!!!
