2023 MCAS Results
MCAS results were mailed home earlier this week. It is important to understand that the MCAS are one of the many ways we measure student progress across the curriculum. We also use many ongoing assessments in classrooms not only to measure student progress but also to assess the success of our district curriculum. Parent-teacher conferences will be taking place over the next two weeks and this is a great opportunity to hear about specific aspects of the grade-level standards that going well for your child and other areas that may be a challenge.

New Staff Spotlight
Each week will be introducing you to staff that are new to Fisher. This week's highlight is Mr Doucette.
My name is Phil Doucette, I'm a new ESP at Fisher School. I started as a substiute teacher and realized I liked it so much I applied for a full time position! I was a state trooper for 28 years before retiring to be a stay at home dad. When my youngest child started school, I started working for Walpole schools and really enjoy working with children and helping them learn.
