Cowles Music Concerts - At Roosevelt HS

• Thursday, February 29th, at Roosevelt High School
• Lower Montessori - 6:00-7:00 p.m. (students meet in the RHS cafeteria at 5:40 p.m.)
• Upper Montessori - 7:00-8:00 p.m. (students meet in the RHS cafeteria at 6:40 p.m.)

Friday, February 9th is the Winter Sweetheart Dance in the Cowles Gymnasium!

Get ready to boogie! Dance times are 6-7 pm for Pre-K thru 3rd and 7-8 pm for 4th-8th. *All students are welcome to attend at the time that is best for their family - particularly those with siblings in another grade level might wish to keep the dancing!

However, the music and activities will be focused on the grade levels listed above. Popcorn, Pizza and refreshments will available for purchase at the dance. Parents and guardians! We need volunteers! Please sign up to help here: Volunteer Sign Up!

Saturday, February 17th: Join us at Brenton Skating Plaza for our annual Cowles Skating Day! This is a FREE event for all Cowles families, and skate rental is included. We will also have a hot coca bar on site for friends to enjoy. Be sure to join us on the ice at 10 am for our group photo! CMPG will be accepting goodwill donations (suggested $5) to help us recoup some of the costs associated with this event if your budget allows. See the Facebook event for more details. Advanced Learning Program

Middle School Dance Workshop

Cowles Montessori Grades 6-8

The Advanced Learning Program will offer dance workshops for students in middle school who are interested in exploring the world of dance and being evaluated for identification and programming in the area of performing arts. The workshops are taught by dance professionals to help us assess and grow students’ physical control, coordination and agility, spatial awareness, observation and recall, rhythm, focus, perseverance, expressiveness, movement quality, and improvisational skills. All students with or without a formal background in dance who want to learn more about the art of expression through movement are invited to attend.

DATES: March 5th-March 8th

TIME: 7:15-8:15 am

ROOM: Cowles Gym
