Families, please ensure you have your child to school on time and also picked up on time (if you pick up from school). Our doors open at 8:20 a.m. and students arriving at and after 8:50 a.m. are tardy. If they are tardy, this goes against their attendance record, they miss breakfast, and they have missed the beginning routines of their day. Please help provide this consistency to their schedule.

For dismissal, please be on time as well. We begin dismissal at 3:35 p.m. and it is "done" by about 3:45 p.m. However, we have had quite a few students here until close to 4 p.m. Please have your child picked up on time so that our staff can return to job duties, or go home to be with their families :) Also, remember if you have a change of plans for dismissal, let the office know by 2:30 so that we can get the message to your child!

Our PTA has worked to put together an incredible School Spirit Store. At the website, you can find t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, pajama pants, and more! There are multiple design options and color options for each item. Check it out HERE!

If you have had Free or Reduced Lunch prices in the past, you must fill the application out each year or your child(ren) will return to full pay. We encourage ALL families to complete the application. You only need to fill out one application for all of your children, just make sure to put them on that application. You can find the link to the application HERE.

Also, make sure your child has money on their lunch account. If a child has a delinquent account, you will get a robo call from Nutrition Services. If your child's account stays delinquent, they will still get lunch, but it will be a deli box. If you have questions, please call Nutrition Services at 417-523-1115.

Hello! My name is Tom Masterson and I am excited to be joining the Jeffries community as the new building principal. For the past two years, I have been the Assistant to the Principal at Sherwood Elementary and McGregor Elementary. Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher at McGregor. I have been married to my wife, Jessica, for 7 years and we have 2 children: Ryleigh, who is 5, and Owen, who is 10 months old. Ryleigh will be a kindergartener this year and my wife stays home with our son, due to his special needs.

I am excited to join a community in which we have fabulous teachers, invested parents, and dynamic students. I have been at Jeffries the entire month of July and it has been great walking around the building and seeing all that is going on during Explore. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to make your students successful!
