School News

Halloween Parade

We are hoping for beautiful weather on October 31. If there is inclement weather on October 31, the parade will be held inside. Unfortunately due to limited space, family members will not be able to attend. We have our fingers crossed that it won't rain!

School Nurse

Our wonderful nurse, Amanda Marschalk will be transferring to Wall High School on November 2nd. Although I have only been here for a short time, it is evident that Amanda is truly AMAZING! OMS has been so lucky to have such a warm and talented nurse for the last 12 years. We wish her much success at the HS, but we will miss her! Jessica Niskoch (the district float nurse) will start at Old Mill school on Wednesday, November 2nd until Nurse Brittany Hurden starts full time in December.

Nurse Hurden lives in Wall Township with her husband, her 4 year old son, her 3 year old daughter, and their dog. She enjoys traveling, the beach, reading and spending time with her family. She has been a nurse for 11 years. She has worked at Children’s Specialized Hospital and Monmouth Medical Center prior to getting her school nurse certification. She has worked as a school nurse for the last 6 years. She is excited to join the Wall Township School Community.
