The AISD Technology team was on campus Tuesday and Wednesday to distribute student devices. Your child's teacher sent via email a Student Technology Expectation and Digital Citizenship form. Please complete this form and return it to campus.

NWEA MAP Assessment window opens on Monday, August 28th. This assessments window closes September15th. During that time, your child's teacher will facilitate Math and Reading beginning of year screeners. The campus will run the Family Report once the window has ended and the district has processed the data. Results for MAP Math and Reading will be given on September 25th during parent conferences.

Our PK-2nd grade families enjoyed Back to School Night last night. It was a wonderful evening. The format allowed for parents to have quality time in their child's classroom and neighborhood. Neddy Asper, our Cafeteria Manager, even prepared some samples for a food tasting table. Jaci Kelleher, PTA President, and I prepared a video greeting to welcome everyone. Check out our new system!

Lunches, water bottles, umbrellas, jackets, etc. can all be left on the shelf by the front door. Labels and pens are available for you to write your child's and teacher's names. Once complete, adhere label to your item.

We will deliver all items beginning at 9:00 am and will do a second run at 11:00 am.

For items that need to arrive to your child immediately - such as eyeglasses or hearing aids, please ring the bell and someone will let you in. If you are bringing medications, you must walk this inside and meet with the campus nurse.

Why the big change? Other schools in the area have been doing this and report that is easier for parents to drop off and hop back in the car without having to enter the building. It increases our safety by minimizing the number of times each day that we open the exterior doors. We have a camera directly on the shelf and can monitor items. Plus, it allows our front office team to focus on their jobs. Robin, Melissa, and Nery are responsible for numerous daily functions that keep Bear Creek in compliance.

No matter how friendly your furry family member, pets are not allowed on campus. The exception is registered service animals displaying their appropriate harness/vest.

Membership is only $10 for individuals, $20 for families, and $5 for Teachers & Staff
