Updates and Reminders
This week we were visited by local author Rachel Vogel. She was able to see every grade level, and share her stories with them. These stories are centered around animal characters who go on adventures in the wilderness. In her discussion with students, she highlighted the fact that she used her own personal memories and past events as inspiration, and that she didn't know that she wanted to be a writer until later in life. She told the students that they too can be authors or illustrators, and in fact they probably already are! We truly enjoyed her visit!
