Great Start!

It was a GREAT START to the 23-24 school year. There are always kinks to work out, but overall, each principal reported it was a solid start.

ROOMS: Communication Tool

By now every parent of a current Mountainburg student, should either be registered in Rooms through an invite email, or received a sheet with instructions at Open House.


Our goal is to have 100% of our parent/guardian base on board in Rooms to make communicating with teachers much easier. This will also be a good tool for coaches and group leaders to use.


Mrs. Christian, Mr. Johnson (MES Dean of Students), and Chop (MS/HS Dean of Students) are overseeing this process. Please email one of them if you have any questions.

After School Program

Dragon Gear '23

Get your Dragon Gear ordered! There will be two rounds of ordering:


  • Today - August 18: Orders will be delivered to school by August 25.
  • August 26 - September 1: Orders will be delivered to school by September 11.


Proceeds will benefit MHS FBLA and the Dragon Yearbook.


You can order and pay online at the link below. Paper order forms will be available at each office by the end of the first week of school.

MOUNTAINBURG SOCCER CLUB| It is time to register your child for fall soccer in the Mountainburg Soccer Club.

RAPTOR Visitor Management System

VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM| Our mission is to ensure high levels of learning for all, and ensuring a safe and secure school is a priority.

We are implementing a visitor management system utilizing Raptor which will allow us to know precisely who is on campus. This is being done at each campus in the district.

Visitors are welcome with a valid ID.

What is Character? (Let's Make It Easy)

DragonFly

Parents - It is very important that this gets completed before your Dragon athlete begins practicing in their sport.


If you have a son or daughter entering 7th - 12th grade and they are going to participate in a sport through the Mountainburg Athletic Department, you must complete the information through the DragonFly portal. This is mandatory through the Arkansas Activities Association.

Dragon Cross Country


CROSS COUNTRY| The first Cross Country practice of the season will be Monday, August 21 @ 3:45. Coach Kearney will meet the runnerrs in the Middle School Gym. Any students in grades 7-12 are welcome.


This will be followed by a short parent meeting @ 5 PM in the Middle School Gym.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
