Principal Message
Hello Cooper Family and Friends,
HAPPY New Year!
What a wonderful year it has been! It is just so wonderful to have all the family fun activities, student clubs and field trips return after a few years of caution. Again, another BIG "thank you" to all of our parents, guardians and caregivers for your continued support and involvement. If your schedule allows, we would LOVE your help. Classrooms need additional adult "hands" to help students during center activities and we always could use more support in the cafeteria or at recess. Please contact your child's teacher or Mrs. Lindsay Szpara for volunteer opportunities.
Do you have or know of a child who will be 4 years old by September 2023? 4K & NEW 5K Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year. We offer FULL DAY 4K at all our elementary schools along with an option of a morning 1/2 day program. There is more information in this newsletter and on our BASD District Website. 4K Screening is March 1, 2023 for these new students at the District Office. Please register your 4K student. More information will be shared in the weeks to come.
I would like to welcome the new families who are joining Cooper School this semester. Please reach out to me or your child's teacher if you have any questions or needs. We have an amazing staff!
I am looking forward to 2023. Let's set our sights on to new friendships, new adventures, and new learning!
Thank you always,
Mrs. Jackey Syens
