Archie Elementary Family News

We have some exciting events happening in the next few weeks for our elementary students and families. Be sure to check out the upcoming events listed below!

This time of year also brings a variety of illnesses. Here are a few reminders for cold and flu season:

• Students must be fever, vomit, and/or diarrhea free for 24 hours (without medication) before returning to school.
• It is helpful to call the office (before 9 a.m.) and send a Remind to the teacher if your child will be out.
• If you have a doctor's note, it can be sent to school with your child when he/she return.
• Cold and flu medication is not kept at school. If there is medication your child needs to take during the day, it needs to be dropped off to Nurse Quincy.
• Remember to send coats to school. The weather is unpredictable this time of year!

I hope that this month is filled with joy and happy memories for you and your families. Safe travels to those of you who will be going near and far.

Elementary and MS/HS yearbooks are on sale now! To order online, click on the link for your child's school. Orders can also be dropped off at the school office or to Mrs. Kendra Parker in the library. Checks made out to the Archie School District or cash will be accepted. Please be sure to list your student's name and teacher/grade level when dropping off. Name stamping is available for secondary students!

Note that prices increase after December 15th!

Elementary yearbooks (PK-5th grade)- $15 before Dec. 15, $20 after.

MS/HS yearbooks (6th-12th grade)- $45 before Dec. 15th, $50 after.

❄Monday, December 18th- School Board Meeting

❄Monday, December 18th-Wednesday, January 2nd- WINTER BREAK, NO SCHOOL

The PTO presented to the school board on Monday, November 20th regarding their three phase plan for playground improvements.
