Words from our Principal
Crusader Families,
Thank you for a wonderful year! I am so proud of the many accomplishments of our students and I am looking forward to seeing the 7th grade students return in July as 8th graders!
Thank you to everyone who supported our staff and these students all year. It has been my honor and my pleasure working together to give our students the best possible experience during their time at BVM.
For some of you, this is goodbye. I wish our 8th grade students all the best in high school. I am confident they will make us proud as the incoming class of 2023!
Have a great summer,
Teresa Kramer

Community Outing
Mrs. Conlin’s class went out into the community to the IB pier and then to eat lunch at Subway. While out in the community, they worked on a number of functional skills. These skills include having appropriate social skills (greetings and manners), appropriate behavior while on the pier, staying with the group, waiting in line to make purchases, making selections for lunch, helping to load the bus, safety in a parking lot and appropriate behavior on the bus. Our Crusaders had a fun time out at the IB pier!
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
This year's 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony was held at Otay Ranch High School on June 7th at 1:00PM. Congratulations to all our stellar students! Watch the ceremony by clicking on the video below:

Digital Citizenship
Everyone wants to keep their kids safe and healthy. One area that may get overlooked is the safety of our kids on the internet. Sometimes we just assume kids know the right thing to do. The best way to keep our kids safe on the internet is to talk to them about it. There are a lot of great resources available to educate yourself on the subject and make it easier to speak to your kids about. A few are listed here to help you begin to help your child develop safe internet behaviors
