Student Health Services
Our district has partnered with Saratoga Hospital to offer a Student Health Services initiative. An advanced practice provider will be available in our district to offer FREE medical care for all students. Some of their services will include: care for minor injuries and illnesses; mental health consultation; acute care prescription medication; and sports physicals. These professionals will share their time between the Elementary School and the Oak Street campus.
In order for students to take advantage of this great opportunity, parents/guardians must sign and return the consent form to their building principal. If you would like to learn more about this service, please follow this link to a recording of our presentation from December 6th, 2022. The Google Slide presentation is also available here. Should you have questions regarding this service, please call 518-654-9005 or 518-654-2960 Extension, 3446.
A Letter from Our Literacy Coach
Hello!
I’m Jess Robinson, the Literacy Coach and AIS reading teacher at Corinth Elementary School! A little about me… I am a mom of three. I have thirteen-year-old twins, and a seventeen year-old son. We also have two crazy dogs! I love running, hiking, skiing, and adventuring outdoors with my family. This is my third year as our school’s literacy coach. Prior to this, I taught first grade for 15 years, and fourth grade for 2 years. I absolutely love playing a role in the magic of learning to read!
You have an important role in helping your child learn to read as well! Let your child see you reading and using it as a skill! If your children are just beginning to read, encourage them to listen for rhyming words in songs or poems, talk about books you read to them-ask them questions about what you read and incorporate new words from the book into your conversations. If you have older children, enlist their help in having them read a new recipe, or read to a younger sibling.
Here is a great article on the benefits and importance of reading to your child:
If you have any questions, or are looking for further resources, please feel free to reach out to me! My email is robinsonj@corinthcsd.org.
A Letter from Our Math Coach
Hi!
I am Eryn DuMoulin, the Math Coach and AIS math teacher at Corinth Elementary School! My teaching background includes both 5th grade, and 2nd grade. I have two children in the district! In my free time I am a cheerleading coach for our local youth football program, the Junior Mountaineers, and a softball coach for Corinth Little League. I also enjoy spending time with my family outdoors! We love hiking, fishing, and spending time at our camp, or at the lake!
We all use math in our world everyday! It is important for children to see how adults use math everyday! Whether you are cooking, building a project, or keeping track of time in the day, be sure to point out how you are using math at home and involve your children!
Should you have any questions or if you would like further resources, please feel free to contact me at dumouline@corinthcsd.org.
