The 88th Texas Legislative Session began on Jan. 10 and there are more than 350 bills that have been filed that will affect public education if passed.

Why it matters: Decisions made during the 88th legislative session will have a direct impact on our students' educational experience.

Our district follows "The Leader in Me" program that includes teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. If you would like to learn more about what we are teaching your children, please use this form to sign up for our parent training on April 27th from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm. The training will be held in the upstairs auditorium in the elementary building. Please be sure to sign in at the front office with your photo ID. Collin College will offer a variety of camps this summer. Middle school and high school students can select camps ranging from automotive to robotics, and certain subjects are repeated at multiple campuses. This year the college is also offering an Adult Summer Art Camp. The following camps, listed by start date, will be held in June and July and are located on the college’s campuses in Allen, Farmersville, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, and Wylie. Safety of our students and staff has always been our number one priority. Leadership Prep has been partnered with STOPit solutions for several years to provide a way for students, families, and even staff to submit safety concerns they have anonymously.
