EAGLE UPDATE

LAST FULL WEEK!!!! It’s finally here, I know it has felt like it would never arrive. There is still a lot of work to do, but at least we are down to just exams. We all know this last week will be difficult, we have already seen some students giving up and acting out. This is the most stressful time of the school year for everyone. If you need anything, just let one of us know and we will do what we can to help.

We have both of our awards assemblies this week, along with senior breakfast. My guess is that we can expect some type of senior prank Thursday night. As always, the prank will be pre-approved and should not disrupt the educational environment. This time of year, the auditorium is a very busy place. Both MEC and FLTCC have their graduations scheduled, along with other events in that space. The senior breakfast will be next Friday morning. Students will leave the building around 8:00am, head to breakfast and on their way back we will make a stop at the elementary building for our graduates walk. After the walk, we will return to the secondary building. The seniors will clean out their lockers and be excused from school until their graduation rehearsal.

Mrs. Adams will start collecting tablets next Tuesday during lunches. All students, both Middle and High School, will drop their devices off in the High School Cafeteria. I will be sending a message home to families Friday afternoon to inform them of the device turn in dates. Students must have their tablets turned in by the last lunch period on Thursday the 13th. The only exception being students who are allowed to use a computer during testing. I will make several announcements over the PA reminding students about the turn in dates.
