COVID-19 Update
As the weather gets colder and restrictions have been eased, we encourage staff and families to stay the course with ensuring masks are worn and social distancing is followed to the extent possible. As more students are returning to class, teachers and administrators are working diligently to utilize every part of the classroom in an effort to support social distancing.
While numbers are fluid, there has been an increase in the positivity rate in Marion County. As of November 1, Marion County was at a 8.6% positivity rate. As a reminder, the Marion County Public Health Department has issued guidance for schools around criteria for in-person/hybrid/full virtual instruction.
As Dr. Hanson stated in his Wednesday call, we are continuing to follow the guidance of the Marion County Public Health Department, which can be found on their website marionhealth.org under the COVID-19 Dashboard, School Guidance Dashboard. With the current data, we will continue with our K-5 IN-PERSON, K-12 VIRTUAL, and 6-12 HYBRID schedules.

Winter Coats!
Hello Caregivers,
This week has been great as we have been able to provide students with coats in time for the winter! We do have a select few left, that we are able to give out, please return the orange slip if you would like for your child to receive a coat. If we are unable to provide your student with a coat then I can reach out to Moorehead Community Center on your behalf to see if they have any additional coats. Please reach out if you need anything!
