Greetings Sward Families:
Unfortunately, it looks like Mother Nature is not planning to cooperate with us. Already, the ground is saturated and it looks like more rain is on the horizon.
Tomorrow, we are expecting to have more rain, strong wind, and cooler temperatures. These conditions would result in some very cold, wet little toes and the popsicle station would definitely not be very enjoyable.
WE WILL BE RESCHEDULING THE FIELD DAY TO OCCUR NEXT THURSDAY, JUNE 2. Next week's weather forecast looks to be sunny, dry, and in the upper 80s/lower 90s.
***If you were scheduled to volunteer tomorrow and are no longer able to, please email Ms. Schiestel to let her know at lschiestel@d123.org and she will make the corrections on her group assignments list.
Please do not send your child to school in their Field Day tshirt tomorrow... and instead, have them wear it on Thursday, June 2.
