Spirit Day - 3/1 - Western Day!
Don't forget to participate in Western Day on Friday, March 1st. All students are encourage to wear western gear to earn Spirit Points for their house.
The LVMS Student Council will be selling western style bandanas in all lunch periods this week for $2!
6th Grade Western Dance - 3/1/24
Dance Reminders
When dropping off students on 3/1, parents should utilize the bus loop to drop off by the LVMS Main Entrance. Parents will not be permitted into the building. When picking up students at the conclusion of the dance, parents should wait in their cars and organize in the bus loop. Officer Feichter, the LVMS Administration, and Staff Chaperones will assist in dismissing the students in an organized fashion. Students will not be permitted to walk off the property at the conclusion of the evening.
Students will enter / exit through the LVMS main entrance. Students must remain at LVMS for the duration of the event. Students will not be permitted to leave early. (Dance will run from 7:00 - 9:00 PM).
Western apparel (cowboy hats, boots, plaid, jeans) are recommended, but optional. If students choose to wear western apparel, they must adhere to the LVMS Dress Code. Additionally, any props, carried items, weapons or other items will not be permitted at the dance.
For more information, please check your email for a letter that was sent on Friday, February 23rd to all 6th Grade Families.
Technology Dept. Chromebook Reminders
As a reminder, if you are experiencing any tech issues or have a damaged Chromebook, please be sure to report those issues directly to our Technology Department as soon as possible!

- All student support periods in the LCC (near the guidance office)
- 6th Grade: 11-17 - 11:40 AM
- 8th Grade: 12:06 - 12:29 PM
- 7th Grade: 12:31 - 12:53 PM
Loaner Chromebooks:
- If you forget your Chromebook or need a loaner, please visit the Main Office during AM Homeroom. Please be aware, there are a limited number of loaner Chromebooks available each day.

LVMS Spring Sports Information
2024 Spring Season - (B/G Track, Baseball, and Softball)

Tryout/Practice Start dates - Apr 1st
End Date of Overall Season - Jun 9th

Fall Cross Country and the Spring Track & Field Teams

Boys Baseball - 7th / 8th Grades
All players who would like to sign up for the LVMS Panther Baseball Team are reminded to submit their physical and parent permission paperwork by Friday, March 15. The LVMS Baseball Google Classroom join code is posted outside the North Gym. All players intending to try out need to join the Google Classroom by March 15.
Girls Softball - 7th / 8th Grades
All 7th & 8th Grade girls interested in trying out for the LVMS Girls Softball team should sign up outside Coach Demarest´s Room, Room 26. All girls intending to try- out must have their Physical & spring sports forms in to the nurse by March 15 to try- out. Softball tryouts are scheduled to begin April 1st through April 4th. Players should also complete a player form and return to Coach ASAP which can be found by the sign-up sheet.. See Coach Demarest Rm. 26 with any questions.
Boys and Girls Track & Field** - 6th - 8th Grades
Signups for the girls and boys Spring track teams will start on Tuesday, February 20th outside of Coach Petrucelli's room (36). There are no tryouts for Spring track, and all are welcome to participate. All paperwork, including completed physical forms, are due no later than March 15th.
