What an amazing week celebrating Homecoming at WMS! It was wonderful to see all the creativity and participation from our students and staff.

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, staff, and students who made it an amazing week. What an awesome showing of the WMS Community. THANK YOU!

Shout Out to Our Custodians

Today is Custodian Appreciation Day! We are so appreciative of all that our custodians each and every day to make our school the best place it can be! There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes on. We wouldn't be able to do it without them.

Mid-Terms

Thank you for your patience as we continue to learn how to post Habits of Works in Infinite Campus so the information is helpful to parents/guardians as well as clear.

Mid-Term grades are posted on Infinite Campus. If you would like a paper copy sent to you, please contact the WMS Main Office.

Keep an Eye Out...

Starting in October we will be having Monthly Spirit Dress Up Days! Stay tuned for more information. Hmmmm, I wonder what October's Theme will be.

Don't worry! We have you covered. The fantastic thing about our spirit wear is that you get to design it, which is made to your specifications. You can choose the color, shirt type, and design you want! They made great gifts for individuals of ALL ages!

All proceeds go to student-specific materials, events, and activities.

Are you a WMS Military Family?

Washington Middle School is working to support our military families better. If you have someone in your family currently serving in or a veteran of our U.S. Armed Forces, please fill out this quick survey. The information shared will only be seen by our Main Office and used to increase our support for military families.

WMS First Dance of the School Year

Yahoo! The time has arrived for WMS to host its first day of the year. Thank you to our Student Council for sponsoring the dance.

Here are the details:

Where: WMS Gymnasium

When: October 5th, 7:00-8:45

Cost: $2- Money will go to the Montana Make-a-Wish Foundation

Things to Note:

Students can enter for the dance from 7:00-7:10. At that time, the doors will close.
Students must stay at the dance unless their parent/guardian comes to the gym doors to pick them up.
Students MUST have someone there to pick them up at 8:45.
Students must follow the school dress code in the WMS Student Handbook.

We have a LOST and FOUND!

And...it is FULL.

We have water bottles, single shoes, pairs of shoes, books, sweatshirts, backpacks, and the list goes on. If you know or think your student is missing items, please encourage them to check the Lost and Found by the gym doors.

Fun Friday...day...day...day!

It's BACK! Fun Friday is an optional activity for WMS Students who ARE NOT REQUIRED to attend Friday School.

The first Fun Friday is October 13th from 9:00-11:00

Here is the scoop!

To participate, WMS students MUST:

Have a C or higher in all their courses

At the time of sign-up and throughout the week of Fun Friday

Follow expectations in the WMS Student/Parent Handbook.

Here are additional rules that need to be followed:

No Chromebooks
No cell phones (will be checked in the Main Office at the start and picked up at the end) because students do not go to their lockers during Fun Friday.

Students need to attend from 9:00-11:00.
A permission slip must be signed and turned in for each student to attend.
