Hello Lake Fenton Families,

Winter break is almost upon us providing much needed time to unplug and reconnect with our families at home. This month is a great time to rekindle our sense of family and community -- attend our Tin Can Raffle, a winter sporting event, a holiday music concert from our band or choir, or donate much needed resources to our Giving Tree and Santa Slam fundraising efforts. If you know of any family in our school community that needs assistance this holiday season, please reach out to our office. I am always inspired and in awe of the amazing Blue Devils that show up to support our students, staff and each other this time of year. Thank you!

• Winter Break will run from December 21st through January 2nd with classes resuming January 3rd
• First Semester Exams will take place Thursday, January 12th and Friday, January 13th
  
• These two days class periods will be 75 minutes long with a 30 minute lunch break midday
  
• All teachers will provide course review materials by January 6, 2023 and exams will be worth 20% of grade

• After School Supports are still being offered for all core subjects Monday through Thursday for students needing additional help - please see schedule below

• Second Semester will begin Tuesday, January 17th, 2023

Is your student struggling in a core class or just need some additional after school support? Not only do we have NHS tutors available after school twice a week with Mrs. Garceau, we also have each core subject area offering after school sessions. Be sure to check with your teacher for the days they will be available and take advantage this second half of the semester to stay on track.
