As the end of the year approaches, we are busy completing spring assessments and making the final push to finish this year strong. Thank you to everyone for protecting the state assessment times, if anyone was absent our make-ups are next week in the morning. Remote learners have been contacted by the school office regarding how end-of-the-year assessments will be administered.
It is inevitable that every year we have to say good bye to one of our staff members. Miss Faith Mount will be starting a new adventure next year and we are going to miss her terribly. She has been a great asset to our staff and has touched so many young lives. We are so grateful for the time we had her here at Holy Cross and wish her all the best in the future. Come back and visit Miss Mount. We will miss you!
Miss Bridget Koeppen is our second-grade student-teacher with Mrs. Ward this semester. She graduates in May of 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Kansas. She loves math and has dedicated the past two years teaching in the University of Kansas Algebra Program. We are so pleased to announce that she will be joining our Holy Cross team as our Junior High Math teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Easter season reminds us of new beginnings and the verse from Romans 6:4 states "just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life". This reminds us that each school year is a new beginning full of hope for the future.
