Principal's Message
Dear Yowell Families,
This week is a shortened week but we have a fun week planned. Tuesday we kick off our annual fundraiser. We have worked to raise money for a pavilion (similar to the pavilion at Rock Water Park) for the past two years and met our goal. In working with Morton Buildings and the Town of Culpeper we hit a few snags which slowed us down. We are in the final stages of clearing the way to making the Yowell pavilion a reality. As we move into this fundraiser, our goal is to raise money to continue to add to outdoor play and excitement. We will focus on adding a piece or two of equipment to our playgrounds. You will hear more throughout the week.
This week is a four-day week with a four-day weekend! There is no school this Friday or the following Monday, September 4th.
Our students in grades 3-5 will take the math SGA, on Tuesday, August 29th in the afternoon. We ask for students in those grades to refrain from early dismissals.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
