A Message From The Superintendent

Clever Family
The 2019-20 school year is officially over, and we were presented with many challenges. From ransomware to COVID-19, we spent the year learning to be flexible, to accommodate, and to overcome. Now we are looking ahead to summer school and the 2020-21 school year.
Summer school will look a little different this year. First of all, we will be offering virtual classes in June for high school students. Registration has been completed and we are ready for classes to begin June 1. We hope to offer seated summer school classes for K-12 in July. Registration for these classes will be opening soon. Please watch social media and our school website for more information. Any decisions regarding seated summer school will be made with safety in mind.
Our leadership team will be coming together next week to look at plans for school reopening in the fall. We will be looking at several scenarios and making multiple contingency plans. Using the latest data and recommendations from state and local agencies, we will plan for a smooth re-entry for our students. As we get these plans solidified, we will share them with you so you can prepare as needed for the fall. As always, we will put the safety and welfare of our students and staff at the forefront.
I want to thank the entire Clever community for their patience during the past year. It is my hope that we will continue to earn your trust and support as we move forward as a family.
Sincerely,
Mr. Benjy Fenske
