Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Our Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) club put on our first Anti-bullying week! See what they created below:

- Put together an inspirational video about not bullying played on FLCN

- Created a banner for students to pledge to stand up against bullying

- Made and posted signs on what to do to prevent bullying (see below)

How to Prevent Bullying

As an upstander you can support the victim by:

• Not laughing

• Not encouraging the bully in any way

• Not participating

• Not making a video and posting it online

• Telling an adult

To be an upstander, you must take action to:

• Tell the bully to stop

• Get others to stand up to the bully with you

• Help the victim

• Shift the focus and redirect the bully away from the victim

What: 6th-12th Grade Band Concert & Chili Supper Fundraiser

When: Thursday, March 11, 2021

Time: Chili served at 5:30 p.m. Concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Blair Oaks High School Cafeteria & Gym
Cost: $5.00 for all you can eat!

Jostens representatives will be at school on Thursday, March 11th, to deliver caps, gowns, and announcements to seniors during their lunch periods. If your senior is absent on this date, their order will be available for pick-up in the high school office.

What: Blood Drive at St. Stanislaus

When: Sunday, March 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: St. Stanislaus Gym

St. Stan partners with Blair Oaks to qualify for scholarships from the Red Cross. The amount we receive depends on the number of pints collected. Volunteering at any blood drive will increase your chances of earning a scholarship.

All parents and students are invited to donate blood to support Blair Oaks High School and American Red Cross Scholarships.

What: Cheer Tryouts (must cheer both football and basketball)

When: Monday, March 29 –Thursday, April 1, 2021

Where: High School Gym

Time: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Note: Times are subject to change but will be finalized by 3/22/2021.

Blair Oaks R-II School District is planning to have Summer School, pending state funding. The following details are tentative. Sign-ups for Summer School will not go out until the end of March.

Driver's Education

• Must be 15 years of age by June 15, 2021
• Dates: June 2, 3, 7, 8, 9
• Requirements of 30 hours of classwork & 18 driving hours
• Enrollment fee and cost of breakfast/lunch

High School Physical Education

• Dates: June 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29
• Students missing more than one day will not receive credit
• Free enrollment. Only the cost of breakfast and lunch.
