Concord Family,

I know we get busy with the ins and outs of our day to day work but I want to remind you how important you are! Check out this little #booksnap I made with the Clips app (only on Apple devices). Clips is a free app that lets you make fun videos to share with friends and family. With a few taps you can create and send a video message or tell a quick story with artistic filters, animated text, music, emoji, and fun stickers featuring characters from Star Wars, Disney, Pixar and more.

This week, I want to challenge each of you to greet each and every students at the door with a high five, fist bump, or hug to let them know how much you care! Are you up for the challenge?

Monday, Don't Sweat the PD @ 8:00 a.m. Join us in the library to learn more tricks about SeeSaw including #booksnaps and #gratitudesnaps. This quick session will be led by Doug and Nicole. If you attend, you can wear your workout gear that day.

Tuesday, PTG Meeting @ 7:00 p.m. Join us for the Parent Teacher Group State of the Union District Address in our Concord Gym on

Early Dismissal, Wednesday:

Remind students to wear their 'Empower' shirts.
RTI meeting in Creation Station @8:00 a.m.
Parent Reminder: please remind students and parents that we will dismiss at 1:35.
Buddy Assembly will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the buddy activity can be found here.
We will be working in PLC's. Specialists and those not in a PLC, please meet in the library with Angie for a customized PD session.

2017-18 Schedule Feedback Form: Please be sure to give us your feedback in the next week so we can begin discussing the schedule for next year.

The Academy (Dan Murphy) has a surplus of yard waste bags donated by Home Depot. Please feel free to take them for your school or home needs. They should be outside the creation station this week.

Bell to Bell Learning

This week Liz and I will be doing walkthroughs to observe bell to bell learning at Concord. What does morning work look like in your room? If you need some ideas for ways to engage kids starting at 8:30, see this link.
