PINK OUT SHIRTS!
It’s time to go PINK for volleyball and breast cancer awareness! Pink Out Shirts will be sold each day at lunch beginning Monday, September 30th and also at the pep rally on October 3rd. Short sleeve are $15, long sleeve are $20. All proceeds are donated to the Parker County Health Foundation.

College & Career Fair and Financial Aid & Scholarship Session
The annual Weatherford High School College and Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm in gyms B and C of Weatherford High School. There are over 60 post-secondary institutions that will be in attendance to speak with WHS Juniors and Seniors. Parents are welcome to attend either session with their student. Also, new this year: Gabrielle McCormick, the founder of The Scholarship Informer will be here to present on ways to make college affordable. Gabrielle completed her entire college education for free (all the way through her doctorate degree) and now she is helping others get on the path to a debt-free education.
The tentative schedule is as follows:

Floral Design Arrangement of the Month Club
It is now time to sign up for the Floral Design of the month Club! Each month starting in October you will receive a fresh arrangement from the High School Floral Design class.
Attached you will find an order form. If you would like to pick and choose which months you want to receive or if you want them all there is an option to do that. Payment can be tubed to me through campus mail. Thank you for supporting our program! (images are examples only)
WHS Band
On Saturday (9/21), your Weatherford HS Drumline and Front Ensemble competed in the Plano Drumline Contest hosted at Clark Stadium. The group received some great feedback from the panel of judges, competing against some great competitors, and ended the night in 5th place.
This past weekend, the Fightin’ Roo Marching Band traveled to San Angelo Central for Friday Night Lights, and premiered all 3 movements of our competition show “Intergalactic”. The crowd loved the Beastie Boys “Intergalactic Planetary” dance feature that was added in. Make sure to come check it out at a game or contest in the near future. Next week we compete at a US Bands Contest hosted by Burleson HS with a prelims performance time of 2:45 pm.

Public Safety Club
The Public Safety Club provides 9th-12th grade students with skills to increase employability in Law Enforcement, Firefighting, EMS, Military, and even the legal profession. We compete against other schools across the state in various Public Safety events and always bring home the gold! We are now selling popcorn to raise funds for our event fees and travel. Club Captain Hunter Welborn always has extra bags to sell!
Club members helped to direct traffic and provided directions to guests at the Homecoming Parade. It's never too late to join! Come by K210 for your application!

Blue Belles Dance Clinic
The Weatherford High School Blue Belles would like to invite all students in grades K-8 to participate in our annual dance clinic. The clinic is taught by our fabulous Blue Belles! The girls and boys will get to show off the dance and new skills they learned for a pregame performance at Kangaroo stadium on October 25th! Flu Shot Clinic Big Success
The flu shot clinic was a tremendous success! We had a total of 244 receive the flu shot this year! 207 students and 37 staff members. Way to go!
