We had a wonderful first week of school. All of our students did a great job wearing masks and practicing social distancing. It is evident that they understand the importance of staying safe! Our kindergarten students were phased in this week and had their first full day of school today. We were excited to welcome our new Jaguars! We hope you have a wonderful long weekend. There is no school on Monday.

• Please send a water bottle to school with your child daily
• If possible, please send your chid's lunch in a paper bag
• If you are changing your child's transportation home for the day, please send in a note for your child's teacher or the office.
• If your child needs to be released early from school, please send in a note indicating what time he/she will be picked up

We have made changes to the arrival and dismissal procedures. Please look over the changes below.

School Hours:

The first bell rings at 8:37 AM. Students are expected to be in the classroom and ready to learn at 8:45 AM. No student can be dropped off prior to 8:20 AM. Please remain in your vehicles until the proper supervision is outside. School dismisses at 2:45 PM.

STUDENT ARRIVAL:

Arrival/Parent drop off - Drop off (no sooner than 8:20 AM) will be behind the school instead of the side of the building to allow for social distancing. Students must wear a mask when exiting the car and line up until the bell rings. At the bell, children will enter the building using different doors and go directly to their classrooms.

Arrival/Bus - Students will exit their buses. Students must wear a mask and line up according to grade level until the bell rings. At the bell, children go directly to their classrooms.

Breakfast - Students getting breakfast will enter the building immediately. They will not wait in line outside the building. Their temperature will be taken and hand sanitizer will be available before entering the lunchroom.

Y-Care - No parents will be permitted in the building. Y-Care staff will meet students at the cars and take their temperature before entering the building.

STUDENT DISMISSAL:

Dismissal/Parent pick up - At 2:40 PM all walkers will be dismissed. Car riders are dismissed by grade level to the rear playground. Car tags will be distributed to all parents picking up students. The tag will have the students’ last name on it. Tags MUST be visible for ease of dismissal. If you need a tag, please contact the office. Staff will attempt to load 6-8 cars at a time. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE GRAVEL LOT! We will not be using that side of the building and students will not be permitted to walk there. Thank you for your help with this.

Dismissal/Bus - At 2:45 PM, bus riders will be dismissed to their bus lines. Students must wear masks.

Y-Care - Parents will call the latchkey office upon arrival. A Y-Care staff member will release the child to the car.

Please remember to update all of your emergency contacts and information in PowerSchool. It is important that we have the correct phone numbers to contact you if needed.
