BRAVO Penn Wood Bears! We are excited to announce that this year's Fall FUNdraiser has exceeded our $20K goal! We have earned OVER $25K!!!! We are blown away by your generosity. Thank you for supporting Penn Wood! Sending a special, big "thank you" to Kristin Casalenuovo for all of her hard work!

Thanks to everyone who supported the Freddy's Dine & Donate in September! We raised $177!!! We look forward to seeing everyone at Bierhaul for our October Dine & Donate. All of these funds will help us give our kids an amazing year!

• 13th - Home & School Meeting, 6-8 p.m. in the school library. All are welcome!
• 18th - Dine & Donate @ Bierhaul, 4-8 p.m. (dine-in only)
• 24th - No School
• 28th - Prized Pumpkin Social, 5:30-7 p.m.
• 31st - Halloween Parade (2 p.m.) & Classroom Parties (immediately following parade)

Join us on October 18th for a Dine & Donate at Bierhaul in Thornton (dine-in only)! Bring the family to dine-in for the fundraiser between 4 and 8 p.m. or plan a night out and stay for trivia which begins at 8 p.m.!

Picture Day - Two volunteers needed to help the students prepare for their photos with Barksdale on October 12th! One volunteer needed from 9:15-11:45 a.m. and one volunteer needed from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Clearances are required.

Breakfast with a Buddy - Co-chair wanted! Help host this favorite Penn Wood tradition tentatively scheduled for March that honors our school families.

Dine & Donate - Shadow the current lead to take over working with local restaurants to coordinate monthly "Penn Wood Nights Out".

No-Cost Fundraising - Shadow the current lead to promote Box Tops and AmazonSmile and possibly find other fundraising opportunities in which school families participate by simply using products and stores that give back to Penn Wood.

Please consider volunteering for outdoor lunch duty so that the students can continue to go outside for some extra fresh air and sunshine. We will continue to take students outside as long as, and whenever, we have nice weather days. If you have your clearances and you are interested, you can sign up here.
