Last night we hosted a Kindergarten and Scholarship Night for new families. It was a huge success. It is always so fun to share all the incredible work being done here at Holy Cross. Thank you to Claudia Ramos, Carina Fernandez, and Amy Schroeder for sharing your Holy Cross journeys. It is evident that we are all so proud of our school and community.
We started our last day before break with a beautiful prayer service lead by our 5th grade class. The students sang so beautifully and it was nice to gather together before break. Thank you to Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Hill and the fifth grade class for all your hard work in preparing for the service.
We ended the day with a super fun Thanksgiving Assembly. Our first and second grade students started it with their very own Thanksgiving Day Balloon Parade after reading the picture book, "Balloons over Broadway" by Melissa Sweet. We played games where we dressed like turkeys, did word scrambles and feather races. The teachers ended the assembly with the 9 Days of Thanksgiving Break song. We love to celebrate with our students and staff! We will miss you all over break!
