Library News
Season’s Greetings Dragons!
What a fun week for our littles, we read the story Pick a Pine by Patricia Hoht. We started to read this sweet story using the Novel effect app and the kiddos were able to decorate a felt tree in the library. Older kids heard the story The Wishing Tree by Meika Hashimoto. This sweet story reminds the students about As we are getting ready for our winter break I would like you to take a moment to make sure that if you have an overdue book at home, you take the time to find it and get it returned to the library. Students can only check out new books when they return their books. When we come back in January, we will be getting ready to kick off our California Young Reader Medal program. I have all five books and look forward to reading them to you so we can vote with the rest of the students in California. This will begin at the end of January and run until March. Good things will be happening in the library soon! Remember, good things happen when you read!

TEAM Sierra
Thank you to Diane Child for helping make the event so inviting and festive with the beautiful decor. Diane has helped decorate for several years, her grandkids are in 5th grade and she will be so missed. We appreciate her many years of hard work dedicated to Pancakes with Santa.
TEAM loved seeing the magic through the kiddos eyes! This is one of our favorite events of the year. Shoutout to our staff members who served food and parent volunteers who stepped in where needed. Thank you for supporting us and our school. Sierra school is so special!
