TECHNOLOGY

  • Stephanie Avery conducted the Employee Tech 101 training for all the new staff.
  • 100% of student Chromebooks are ready for service. Outdated devices were removed, broken devices were repaired, and new devices were added.

  • The Server Room received a complete overhaul. The Tech Team removed all the spare parts and assembled new server racks.

  • Our tech team and Resilient installed over 200 new Wi-Fi access points through the district.

  • All new staff members have received their technology devices and our tech staff is staying busy with "beginning of the year" work orders. They have closed around 150 tech tickets in the past three weeks (mostly in reference to account logins, new phones, and connecting to printers).

MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS / TRANSPORTATION

  • The mountain of soil that was stored from the BHS construction was moved by the City of Bonham who were happy to receive it from Mr. Reddy.
  • The Finley-Oates driveway project is complete. The BHS Additional Parking Lot should be completed soon once the striping is painted.
  • We almost met our goal of a 100% completed work orders. We completed 90% of them and have ordered parts or materials for most of the 10% to be completed.
  • All of the Finley-Oates restrooms have new flush valves on the urinals and toilets. Majority of the flush valves were leaking.
  • All of the buses were serviced during the summer break and will be ready for full time use.
  • The Warrior Stadium turf is installed and the job is complete.
  • LED lighting has been installed as we start the baseball field project. Renderings/Plans are coming soon.
